I created a new Outlook Profile in hopes that might work but it still has a delayed connection problem. I switched my account type from POP to IMAP but that has not solved the problem either. I have checked my Comcast account configuration setup in Outlook and it follows the suggested protocol for POP (and later IMAP) account setup.
